What is the CHS 2028 Grad Night Boosters?

We're a parent volunteer group that fundraises exclusively for grad night. We handle only grad night — not senior photos, graduation ceremonies, or other class activities.

Why do we fundraise?

Due to a legal ruling in the early 2000s, Claremont Unified cannot require payments from families for school activities. Parent fundraising makes grad night possible.

How much should we donate?

Current early bird rate: $200 per student (2025 prices). This increases closer to grad night. You can donate anytime — spreading it across sophomore and junior year is common.

My student has special needs — can they participate?

Absolutely. We're committed to inclusive grad night. Contact Molly or Anne to discuss specific accommodations.

Where will grad night be held?

We're planning for [a certain theme park], but venue depends on fundraising success. We need to raise $40-50K minimum. Final details announced senior year.

Is this tax deductible?

Yes, all donations are tax deductible through Claremont PFA (our fiscal sponsor).
